March: Three Guesses made the baker’s dozen list of promising new titles for the Washington Independent Review of Books: Sneak Preview: Spring 2025.

April: Midwest Book Review featured a review of Three Guesses in their online book review magazine Library Bookwatch under The Literary Fiction Shelf: “Told in the author's distinctive and narrative driven storytelling style laced with humor and insight, Chris Johnson's ‘Three Guesses’ is especially and unreservedly recommended novella for community and college/university library Contemporary American Literary Fiction collections.”
